Geoff Moore spent most of his childhood in Japan and Washington but always had family ties in Naples. At a young age he began playing golf and worked with a coach in Naples while visiting family. Geoff graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communications. While attending college he worked as a student equipment manager for the UGA Bulldogs football team and during summers worked for the Seattle Seahawks organization. After college Geoff’s love for the ocean and his passion for golf led him to Naples.
Geoff began his professional career in the golf industry as a teaching professional and custom club fitter, building clubs for local professionals and amateur players. He spent two years teaching and fitting before becoming a full time playing professional. Geoff played tournament golf all throughout the U.S. and in Canada on various mini-tours in addition to Web.Com and PGA sanctioned events. Along with his passion for golf, Geoff spends most of his spare time on or around the gulf. Whether its boating, fishing or other water sports, he loves being around the water. Geoff also serves on the board of directors of a non-profit whose programs benefit at-risk youth.
Throughout Geoff’s life he has always been exposed to the real-estate industry. While watching his parents flip homes and manage properties, he developed a keen interest in real estate. After years developing his own market strategies and learning from his parent’s real estate experiences, Geoff decided to pursue a fulltime career in real estate and partner with John R. Wood Properties. With his vast knowledge of the Naples area and a specialty in golf course communities, Geoff hopes to provide a positive and first-class experience for all of his clients.
Hope was successful in a variety of business settings, both in the U.S. and abroad. She began her career in sales and brand management for IBM and IBM Canada. Her experience working with Refugees International Japan after a move to Tokyo sparked her deep commitment to giving back and she later founded a non-profit to teach philanthropy to high-school-aged youth.
Hope’s family has a history in the wine business and with a move to Washington State she followed in her grandfather’s footsteps and became a winemaker. Using her entrepreneurial skills, she blended two of her passions and built a winery that fundedher philanthropy. After 12 years Hope retired from the wine business and moved to Naples to be closer to family.
An interesting thing happened along the way. After living in 25 different homes Hope developed a talent for design, custom construction and interior renovation. She has a keen eye for detail, a flair for design and over 35 years of hands-on experience successfully transforming properties. Hope believes that vision is “the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”
At the beginning and end of every project was her real-estate agent. Hope knows what people look for from their agent because she has sat at the negotiating table countless times. She understands the importance of listening and understanding what the customer needs, solving problems and executing with integrity. So she shifted her business acumen and design experience to the other side of the table. Whether Hope’s clients want to live on the links or near the beach, she wants to give her client’s dreams an address, and she wants it to be positive experience.
Since 1987 the Moore's have called Naples home and no matter where they have traveled one foot has always been firmly planted on the gulf’s beaches and links. Choosing to partner with John R. Wood was an easy decision. As past clients themselves, they had first-hand experience with John R Wood's professionalism, integrity and core values. And with John R Wood's commitment to giving back to their community they felt right at home.
