Hope was successful in a variety of business settings, both in the U.S. and abroad. She began her career in sales and brand management for IBM and IBM Canada. Her work with Refugees International Japan after a move to Tokyo sparked her deep commitment to giving back and she later founded a non-profit to teach philanthropy to high-school-aged youth.
Hope’s family has a history in the wine business and with a move to Washington State she followed in her grandfather’s footsteps and became a winemaker. Using her entrepreneurial skills, she blended two of her passions and built a winery that funded her philanthropy. After 12 years Hope retired from the wine business and moved to Naples to be closer to family.
An interesting thing happened along the way. After living in 25 different homes Hope developed a talent for design, custom construction and interior renovation. She has a keen eye for detail, a flair for design and over 35 years of hands-on experience successfully transforming properties. Hope believes that vision is “the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”
At the beginning and end of every project was her real-estate agent. Hope knows what people look for from their agent because she has sat at the negotiating table countless times. She understands the importance of listening and understanding what the customer needs, solving problems and executing with integrity. So she shifted her business acumen and design experience to the other side of the table.
